39 Years Ago They Walked on the Moon
It was 40 years ago today that Astronaut Neil. A. Armstrong became the first human to step foot on the Moon.  He took the "giant leap for mankind," and the world has never been the same.  He and Apollo 11 crew mate Buzz Aldrin spent 2.5 hours walking (or more aptly bouncing) around the moon surface while the world sat in amazement watching images of this historic triumph on their TVs.
