ADX/ DMI with Dr. Schaap's Rules for the Road to Profits>
ADX/ DMI for Profits
ETFs generate income.
ADX DMI for the best profits.SPDRs Select Sector Energy ETF (XLE) stored up energy during early 2007, then it powered up in April and May, breaking out of consolidation. The strong ADX and wide DMI separation gave us clues to the power of the trend. Old literature about ADX often instructed the trader to go short when ADX was high. That was an erroneous interpretation. As long as the trend is strong, and NOT climaxing, trade in the direction of the trend. But keep it simple—when +DMI is above –DMI, don’t be short (DMI Trade Direction Rule). When price rose steeply during the last few days, it was time to take partial profit, not enter a short. Understand Power Trends, and your trades will generate megawatts of power profits.
